Gorka Cruz video for Global Economy

Global EconomyGorka CRUZ has been working for the financial industry (mainly private banking) for the past 5 years in Geneva, Switzerland. He is convinced that the current financial system, greedy and perverse is coming to an end. Therefore, he proposes to consider a new future: positive, creative and human.

We will have to create, in the coming months, the foundations of a healthy financial culture in which the extreme greed that led to the present troubles is unable to grow anymore.

Each of us has a contribution to make and a responsibility for the development of this new system.
Let’s create a real human culture for the benefit of us and the next generations !

A few ideas :
stop printing money out of thin air and come back to the gold standard (this will prevent mad governments
from getting involve in wars as they won’t be able to pay for them, and will prevent each and every laborer
from loosing the benefit of their work through inflation)

create social sanctions and laws to prevent “greed culture” (strongly regulate the financial system; stop
bonuses, limit high salaries…)

stop obsolescence and create products which last longer (no need to waste resources and time)

stop advertising products which are unhealthy for human beings and the environment (not necessary to
hear everyday that coca cola will lead you to paradise when in fact it destroys your teeth and stomach
and makes you fatter and fatter everyday) but promote advertisement for ideas and products which help
human beings to live a balanced life respecting the environment

Pop-Folk talent Bastian Baker

LuckyBastian Baker, born in Lausanne on 20 May 1991, is an example of the rich and diverse Swiss music scene. Songwriter, composer and performer, he has a strong inclination for „songs you can play around a fire with your friends on a summer’s evening“.

Like Justin Nozuka or Jack Johnson, he excels in catchy pop-folk ballads with stirring refrains that carry us into his own world, where the carefree and the serious live side by side.

His heart-felt and hard-hitting melodies and texts reveal a heightened sensitivity. He writes in English „because it’s an international language!“, and it’s an important factor if you want to share your music with the whole world. He has been crazy about music since he was a very young child. He took guitar lesson at the conservatory for many years and was also the soloist in a choir.

With a solid experience and a repertoire of songs he has written since the age of 15, he has been playing at show-case unplugged performances, private parties and outdoor stage gigs in front of constantly enthusiastic audiences for the past two years now. In fact, during a concert he was noticed by a producer not long ago and at the same time Caprices Festival organisers noticed him and right away had the good taste to offer him a venue that reflected his talent.
